That’s what Flip the Script teaches you how to do.

In Canada, women-identifying and non-binary entrepreneurs own 31% of businesses2, but receive only 3% of venture capital3.

Research shows that the language investors use when talking to women entrepreneurs accounts for this disparity.

FAQ

No. Though this program will most benefit folks who are in a good revenue position to seek financing, we recognize that revenue varies significantly from sector to sector (and some people may be pre-revenue).

On the application, there is a question about revenue. If you answer that your revenue is NOT $100K or higher, that’s ok. You will be asked to share your annual revenue in a follow up question.

This will help us assess your application from an overall business-stage perspective. People who have less than $100K in annual revenue are eligible and will be considered for the program.

The FTS program has three components that work together: a self-paced online course, AI simulation software, and peer groups.

  • At a minimum, we recommend spending about 2 hours per week on the online curriculum. It takes about 2-3 months to complete- you can work faster or slower to fit your schedule!
  • We recommend using the AI simulation software at least once per week for about 45-60 minutes.
  • The peer group meets for 2 hours every two weeks for 5 months (10 meetings total).

The Summer cohort runs from July to November.

The Fall cohort runs from September to February. There will be no programming in December to account for the holidays.
